Alumna 2017: Liubov Kuznetsova
Cultural manager, Social Impact Hub “Effendi Villa” (Georgia)
for the Future
What drives you in your everyday work?
For me the most important thing in my work is people and their values. The projects and activities implemented by Social Impact Hub “Effendi Villa” are all about respecting the community rules and freedom. We try not to penetrate into the existing patterns of their behaviour rather than just showing different perspectives and possible ways of collaboration.
What kind of change do you want to bring to your local level?
As a civil society actor and cultural manager, I would like to empower people to recognize the significance of historic resources, to preserve them for future generations, and to integrate them into everyday life through redevelopment, lifelong learning, and community conversations.
What idea of Europe do you wish and fight for?
Europe as a place where people regardless of their nationality, language, religion, social and financial background can find a common language to co-exist and co-design their being together.
In your opinion, which strategies could be used by NGOs to influence the decision making in international bodies?
I would suggest taking the cluster approach when NGOs cooperate and implement projects for the common good of their beneficiaries. The effective inter-cluster communication shall empower NGOs to influence stakeholders.
What inspired you the most about being a part of Europe Lab?
Creative approach, networking of professionals, conference speakers and honoured guests
Are you in contact with other Alumni and do you work/do projects together?
I made good friends at Europe Lab. So, I still keep in touch with some Alumni. Sometimes I meet Europe Lab Alumni at other European and Eastern Partnership Country forums and conferences.
